First Annual WSAA Cookout A Big Success!

Clear skies and temperatures in the upper seventies greeted several dozen people at the First Annual WSAA Cookout held at the South T-Hangars on Saturday, May 17th. Hosted by Tom McKim, Scott Piper, and Andy Dale, "Hangar Row" facing Runway 4/22 was filled with people, airplanes, and cars. A special Jeep shuttle carried those who parked in the Fire Department lot to Hangar Row. People started arriving even before 5 PM and stayed as late as 9:30 PM.

Special thanks are due to Jane McKim and her helpers who purchased all the food and arranged the food tables.

Some partygoers suggested that we hold another event like this in a couple of weeks (!), but for now we are looking towards May, 2009.
