Pilot Getaways Magazine

Now in its eleventh year of publication, Pilot Getaways covers two major feature destinations, two weekend getaways, and special articles on Fly-In Dining and Bush Flying in each bimonthly issue. The publisher is careful to cover all areas of the United States, as well as some foreign destinations from time to time. Flying Adventures Magazine

The second recommended adventure travel magazine is Flying Adventures.

Flying Adventures started fourteen years ago when the Company's CEO and Publisher Michael Higgins, who holds a doctorate of philosophy in business administration, developed a prototype magazine to fill a huge void in private aviation - a publication devoted to travel destinations of particular interest to aviators and their business associates, families and friends. Aircraft owners are frequent travelers and hungry for destinations to visit over and above those they already know.

With Flying Adventures, "Pilot Michael," the magazine's editorial voice in the persona of a colorful aviator, visits destinations and through impressive photography and romantic, informative editorial, reports back to his aircraft owner buddies about his "adventures" at the great places he visits.
